Born and raised in Southern Alberta, Naomi completed a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Lethbridge in 2016, followed by her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Naomi has previously worked as an occupational therapy assistant and a physiotherapy assistant throughout Southern Alberta, gaining experience providing in-home services and holistic care to patients who were in and out of hospital. In addition to private practice and home care, Naomi has experience working in acute neurology, the Alberta Children's Hospital, and a spine clinic. Naomi has special interests in treating back pain, neck pain, and pediatrics although she enjoys treating all musculoskeletal injuries.
Naomi uses a combination of targeted therapeutic exercises, manual therapy and education to help patients get back to what they love. She plans to pursue further education by completing her Orthopedic/Manual therapy levels and take post-graduate courses in acupuncture, dry needling/IMS and TMJ disorders.
Outside of the clinic, Naomi can be found riding and chasing cattle in the hills with her family and dogs, skiing in the mountains, and running/hiking anywhere with a view. She also enjoys the problem solving of mechanical work, home renos, photography, cooking/baking and especially roping and colt starting!
